The Great Updates!

Image
Hello Everyone!! Welcome back. Thank you all for sticking around with me. I am back from my hiatus feeling refreshed and ready to take on some new things in my life. This newest blog post is dealing with my life updates from the time I was out.  I've made some physically changes and life changes that have all been for the better. One of the first things that I did was I dyed my hair a couple of months ago. It was such a good experience but I was like wow you really did this. It was supposed to be a gray/silver but ended up being so blonde. Below are some pictures from that process.  I have also made some career changes. I am going to be doing Private Practice therapy full time and I will be an adjunct professor at Pitt. So excited for both of these opportunities. I am leaving the corporate world and doing something that I absolutely love!!  I have also been doing a little more traveling which has been great. I took a solo vacation back in April for my birthday and it was such a gre

Interview with a Nurse: COVID edition

Image
Hello everyone!! Welcome to this installment of the KaRonicle blog. This one is about an interview that I had with a nurse that has been working through COVID. I spoke with Brittany about her experience and how it has been working through the pandemic. She said that it has been stressful but she has been doing well.  We also talked about what she has been doing to keep herself safe.  She said that she has been making more of an effort to clean more often and making sure she is talking care of herself.  She gave advice to everyone to continue washing your hands, social distancing, and following the recommendations that have been set forth by the state and dept. of health.   It is so important to stay vigilant and take care of yourself!!  Social media:  Twitter: thekaronicle  Instagram: thekaronicle  Email: karoniclepodcast@gmail.com  Snapchat: karonsb  Until next time!  KaRon 💙

This post is going to be able resolutions and goals as well well gratitude.  I have always made a resolution or two in the years previous but it has always fallen off pretty quickly. This year, I've decided that instead of making resolutions that will get ignored pretty quickly, I am doing to start setting goals that are more motivating to me. Some of my goals are exercising more, saving money, traveling more, spending more time with my family and friends, and continuing to churn out episodes for my podcast. These are all things that I have so sort of motivation to complete.  Sticking to a Goal: How are you going to stick to these goals, you may ask? Well there are a couple of ways that are going to be helpful toward keeping up with your goals. Some ways in which you want to incorporate these goals into your life and sticking to them are as follows: 1. Making sure you are ready to make the cha
